County Holds Final Hazards Meeting Before Proposed Adoption

Guilford County hosts its final public meeting regarding its Multi-jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan at 6 pm on Monday, February 2. Guilford County residents may join the virtual meeting here.

Recently approved by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the plan identifies and assesses the region's hazard risks for natural disasters and identifies strategies to minimize or manage those risks. The document now heads to the Guilford County Board of Commissioners for review and adoption.

All Guilford County residents are invited to participate in the meeting to hear the plan's details, ask questions, and submit comments for review, consideration, and potential plan modification. For more information about the plan, visit guilfordcountync.gov/HazardMitigation.
