West Chicago Celebrates a Vibrant Year of Community Events: Share Your Feedback for 2026!

West Chicago is closing out 2025 with gratitude and pride after an extraordinary year of community events that brought neighbors together, celebrated our city's rich cultural diversity, and strengthened the connections that make West Chicago such a special place to live, work, and visit. From the energy of Blooming Fest and Food Fest, to the creativity of the Taco and Art Fest, to the cherished traditions of Tales Tombstones Tell and Frosty Fest, thousands of residents and visitors joined us in spaces across the community to enjoy family-friendly fun, food, music, art, and cultural experiences.

These events would not be possible without the dedication and collaboration of our many community partners, including the West Chicago Park District, West Chicago Public Library District, West Chicago City Museum, Western DuPage Chamber of Commerce, Despertar Latino, and many local organizations, businesses, artists, performers, and volunteers. Their creativity, partnership, and commitment help bring these beloved celebrations to life year after year.

As we plan for 2026, the City is looking to you to help shape the future of community programming. We invite all residents, businesses, visitors, and community partners to complete our 2025 Year-End Events Survey. Your feedback will help us refine current events, introduce new ideas, and explore special initiatives, including a potential community parade and a pilot cultural market that celebrates the diverse cultures that make West Chicago unique. The survey also includes questions about how we should commemorate America's 250th anniversary in ways that uplift local stories, highlight historic places, and celebrate our shared community identity.
