Almost two dozen students from Hillsborough High School, all of whom are part of our Big Brothers Big Sisters School-to-Work Mentor Program, will join their mentors and Mayor Jane Castor in building baskets for the Mayor's Holiday Food Basket Drive on Tuesday morning.

The mentors are City of Tampa employees from various departments. This is the second year the high schoolers have helped with the holiday food baskets, but the City has been involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters program for years.

The Mayor will be arriving at 9:00 A.M. to speak with the students and volunteers, take pictures, and answer any questions they may have about this heart-felt program that brings holiday joy.

It promises to be a wonderful event, and we're excited to have everyone come together for such a meaningful cause.
