NAIDOC Week 2025 at PM&C

During NAIDOC Week (6 to 13 July), PM&C staff took some time to attend a range of events and celebrate the history, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Across the week, staff were able to attend a number of events. This included a flag raising and Welcome to Country, storytelling with Ngunnawal Elder Serena Williams, bush tucker sampling, First Nations Cultural Awareness Training, touch football carnival and a historical NAIDOC poster gallery display.

At PM&C, NAIDOC Week is an opportunity to show our support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander colleagues and communities, and to continue our organisation's journey of reconciliation. Building our cultural capability helps us create a more inclusive, respectful and informed workplace - to better serve all Australians.

NAIDOC Week is a time to recognise and celebrate the history, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It's also a chance for all Australians to deepen their understanding of First Nations histories and to take part in the celebration of the oldest continuous living cultures on Earth.
