The City of Torrance proudly announces that plans are underway for the 64th Annual Armed Forces Day Parade & Celebration, returning May 15-17, 2026. Torrance will once again host a dynamic, weekend-long celebration honoring the men and women of the United States Armed Forces, with the United States Marine Corps recognized as this year's honored service branch. New for 2026, the Military Equipment and Vehicle Displays will be located at the City Yard, 20500 Madrona Avenue. The City will introduce a Park-and-Ride shuttle service from the Torrance Regional Transit Center to both the Armed Forces Day Parade and Military Exhibit, providing improved access and convenience for attendees. The Armed Forces Day 5K for Freedom Run/Walk sponsored by the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce will also return and is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 16 at a new location, Maple Avenue and Civic Center Drive.
Additional event details, including road closures, Park-and-Ride pickup and drop-off times, 5K registration link, and the announcement of this year's Grand Marshal and much more will be released in the coming weeks.
