The Riverside County Sheriff's Department Palm Desert Station is inviting the community to attend a free E-Bike Safety Course at Civic Center Park, located at 43900 San Pablo Ave.

The course will provide participants with hands-on instruction and important safety information, including emergency braking, obstacle navigation, reaction-time awareness, proper helmet use, California e-bike laws, safe riding practices, battery charging and fire safety, and how to safely share the road with cars and pedestrians.

Courses will be offered at 8:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 10:30 a.m. The training is open to all ages. Participants who complete the course will receive a certificate of completion, along with Sheriff's giveaways while supplies last.
