Gotion is a threat to Illinois and the Nation

Gotion has well-documented ties to the Chinese Communist Party ( CCP) and JB Pritzker supports their agenda that imposes security risks. Despite red flags and warnings from top officials, the State of Illinois used taxpayer funds to subsidize $536 million to help Gotion acquire land and build a lithium battery factory in Manteno, Illinois. Now, more details have emerged that shed light on how Chinese companies are creating a real threat to our national security. Gotion has no place in Illinois, period.

According to Mark Glennon from Wirepoints, some Chinese-made electrical products have now been found to contain "kill switches," which are backdoor, unauthorized components that would allow somebody to remotely disable or turn off the device. This is a national security risk to our power grids as progressive Democrats continue to support Chinese solar projects.
