Mayor Bass Announces Casa México as First Official Hospitality House during the 2026 FIFA World Cup

LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes to serve as Mexico's Hospitality House

LOS ANGELES - Mayor Karen Bass today announced that LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes in the historic El Pueblo de Los Angeles neighborhood - the birthplace of Los Angeles - will serve as Mexico's Hospitality House for the 2026 FIFA World Cup™. Casa Méxicowill become a vibrant, community-centered hub, bringing together soccer, culture, and the rich flavors, creativity, and traditions of Mexico. In collaboration with the MexicanConsul General and Los Angeles County, this initiative builds on Mayor Bass' priorities for the coming major events - celebrating athletic talent while uplifting the entire community and providing a way for all Angeleos to participate in the sporting events.
