Senator Markey Statement on Ceasefire and Hostage Release

"I am overjoyed to see the guns silent and the first three hostages coming home. This is an important moment for peace, and for the hostages and their families who have had to endure unbearable hardship to be reunited. We can also finally rush desperately needed humanitarian aid into Gaza. We must now make sure that the ceasefire brings a permanent end to this horrific war, and that we get all of the hostages home. We cannot rest until this brutal conflict is brought to a peaceful close."
