Supreme Court Brief: NTCA, CCA, USTelecom Defend Constitutionality of Universal Service Fund Contributions
(January 10) NTCA-The Rural Broadband Association, Competitive Carriers Association (CCA), and USTelecom-The Broadband Association yesterday filed a brief with the Supreme Court supporting the mechanism for contributions to the federal Universal Service Fund (USF).
The associations, several other parties and the federal government petitioned the Supreme Court to review a decision of the Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit declaring the contribution mechanism unconstitutional.
