Woodlanders Invited to Annual “Read, Rumble, & Rev” on April 26

This Saturday, April 26, Woodland Public Library invites you to its annual Read, Rumble, and Rev from 11 AM to 1 PM. Many past favorites will return and families can get up close and even go on or in some of the vehicles.

Woodland Public Library's Read, Rumble, and Rev gives local children and adults a chance to learn about the vehicles and industries in their community. Read, Rumble, and Rev is different than a car show - kids can interact not only with trucks and vehicles, but with the folks that drive and operate them. They can hear the sirens, watch the tractor bucket move, and more.

The library's bookmobile will be at Read, Rumble, and Rev along with Teen Advisory Board members giving out free books to children in attendance as well as information on upcoming library programs. We will also happily accept donations to the Friends of the Library, a group that sponsors so much of our amazing programming, including our Summer Reading Program. Las Brasas and Kona Ice will be on site selling food for families with hungry kids.

We will continue to attempt a quiet hour with no horns from 11 AM - noon for those who would like a more peaceful atmosphere. After 12 PM there may be a little more noise, but we will try to keep it from getting too loud!

Woodland Public Library is grateful for the support of the many participating City departments: Public Works, Fire, Police, and Community Services. We also appreciate our community partners like Woodland Joint Unified School District, WM, Yolobus, the Yolo County Sherriff's Office, Wilkinson International, and Grow West.

This event is free to the public. The library's main parking lot, along with North and First Street next to the library, will be closed for the event, but parking will be available on the west side of College Street and in the lots by the Rose Garden. We hope to see you there!
