Workshop on Innovations in Educational Content Development

Established in 2002, the Virtual University of Pakistan (VUP) provides distance education via the internet and satellite TV. To enhance its capacity, the VUP applied to the APO COE Program in 2020, and capacity-building activities followed. A TES project was initiated to familiarize VUP faculty with generative AI for course design and personalized learning. A three-day online workshop, 26-28 August, on Innovations in Educational Content Development was held by the NPO Pakistan and VUP, with 52 faculty members participated. Sessions focused on educational technologies, augmented reality, and AI tools for content creation, led by a Japanese expert from Chiba Keizai University.
