Advance Removal and Depositing of Ballots for the 2026 State Primary
Under the provisions of "The Votes Act", early voting ballots may be processed in advance of Election Day. The City of Cambridge Election Commission will conduct advance removal of voted State Primary ballots on Monday, August 24th, Tuesday, August 25th, Wednesday, August 26th and Thursday, August 27th beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the City Hall Annex, 344 Broadway, 2nd Floor Conference Room. The voted ballots will be removed from their sealed envelopes and prepared for advance depositing. The advance depositing of voted State Primary ballots will be conducted on Friday, August 28, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the City Hall Annex, 344 Broadway, 2nd Floor Conference Room. The voted ballots will be placed in a tabulator and counted.
