The National Legislative Committee (NLC) gathered at the opening reception to kick off a week of advocacy on Capitol Hill. As the core of the Union's legislative structure, the NLC equips member activists with the education and resources necessary to maintain NATCA's grassroots strength.
Through the NATCA Academy and dedicated online resources, the NLC provides training on the Hatch Act, congressional operations, and effective advocacy. For facility legislative representatives and state coordinators, the committee offers specialized guidance on building relationships with lawmakers and navigating the Union's legislative priorities. Members can connect with their regional NLC representatives and access these advocacy materials on the NLC webpage.
