Colorado Democrats Congratulate John Hickenlooper on Winning Democratic Nomination for U.S. Senate

DENVER - The Colorado Democratic Party congratulates U.S. Senator John Hickenlooper on winning the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate and thanks State Senator Julie Gonzales for her spirited campaign and commitment to Colorado.

Senator Hickenlooper has spent his career delivering lasting results for Colorado. As governor, he helped usher in Colorado's nation-leading gun safety laws, vote-by-mail election system, marijuana legalization framework, and the Colorado Water Plan. In the U.S. Senate, he has helped deliver historic investments in infrastructure, climate resilience, and American innovation through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and CHIPS and Science Act, while continuing to defend Colorado's public lands and freedoms.
