The Iowa State Bar Association Board of Governors approves updates to civil and criminal jury instructions

At the December meeting of The Iowa State Bar Association (ISBA) Board of Governors, changes to the Iowa Jury Instructions were approved.

The following are changes to the civil jury instructions:

- 3130.3 Intolerable Working Conditions - Definition (Revised)
- 3140.1 Discrimination (New instruction)
- 3140.2 Adverse Action (New instruction)
- 3140.3 Retaliation (New instruction)
- 3140.4 Motivating Factor (New instruction)
- 3140.5 Same Decision Affirmative Defense (New instruction)

The following change to the criminal jury instructions was also approved:

- Revised - 100.7, Credibility of Witnesses and Conflicts in the Evidence, suggested by a Court of Appeals judge
