Lazard Welcomes Steve Nielsen as Managing Director and Head of Industrial Technology, North America

Today Lazard announced that Steve Nielsen joined as Managing Director and Head of Industrial Technology, North America. Based in New York, he will advise on transactions across sectors including Sensors, Electronic Components, Analytical Instrumentation, Automation, Test, Inspection and Certification (TIC) and Environmental Technologies.

Prior to joining Lazard, Steve was a Managing Director at Jefferies, where he built and ran the Industrial Technology franchise. Prior to Jefferies, Steve was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs covering Industrial Technology advising on a range of public and private middle market transactions.

Steve received his MBA in Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business and his BBA in Management Information Systems from James Madison University.

Steve's appointment adds to Lazard's global recruiting efforts as the firm continues to execute its long-term growth strategy.
