Booker Praises Chairwoman Stabenow’s Proposed Farm Bill

WASHINGTON D.C. - Today, U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ), a member of the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee, issued the following statement:

"I commend Chairwoman Stabenow for introducing a strong Farm Bill that would defend and expand nutrition programs, deliver investments in climate-smart farming practices, and support family farmers and ranchers in New Jersey and across the country. This bill would provide assistance to all farmers, not just big commodity farms. We quickly need to pass Senator Stabenow's Farm Bill, which would make meaningful progress for the farmers who are struggling to stay in business and for hungry Americans."
