Suspect:
41yr old female from the Hartford area
Victim:
42yr old male from the Hartford area
Narrative:
Sheriff Daniel E. Abbott reports that Deputies responded to a fight in progress in the City of Hartford with shots fired. Upon arrival, Deputies found an unresponsive male. Life saving measures were taken, but he succumbed to his injuries.
Deputies requested the assistance of the Criminal Investigation Division, CID, to assist with the investigation. This case remains open and ongoing.
Sheriff Abbott wants to emphasize that there are no safety concerns for the public. The suspect is currently in custody and is being cooperative with the investigation. She is currently awaiting arraignment.
