UCLA Strategic Communications wins 2 AVA Digital Awards

AVA Digital Awards has recognized UCLA Strategic Communications and its partner agency, Gravity Global, with two gold awards for outstanding achievement in the single digital ad and animation categories for "Everyday Miracles," an animated short video highlighting the importance of federally funded research. The video was developed as part of UCLA's Research Powers Progress campaign, showcasing the life-changing and lifesaving research emerging from the university every day.

The AVA Awards, an international competition that honors excellence by creative professionals responsible for the planning, concept, direction, design and production of digital communication, is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The foundation for the AVA Digital Awards began in 1994 to celebrate the audio-visual arts. AVA's categories have evolved over the years to acknowledge the expanding role that digital media and the web play in the transfer of information.
