Green Bay Showcases Farlin Park Improvements and Summer Concert Series

The City of Green Bay is excited to highlight the recent improvements at Farlin Park and celebrate the continued success of the Grooves on the Green summer concert series. As part of our ongoing investment in neighborhood parks and inclusive public spaces, Farlin Park now features a new playground, splash pad, upgraded basketball courts, and enhanced gathering spaces for all ages to enjoy.

On Friday evening, city staff joined community members and music lovers for a vibrant Grooves on the Green concert at Farlin Park. With families enjoying the new amenities and local musicians taking the stage, the event demonstrated the value of high-quality parks and the power of coming together as a community.

"These improvements make Farlin Park a true neighborhood destination," said Michael Bergman, Communications Director for the City of Green Bay. "We want to invite all residents to experience the refreshed park and join us for upcoming Grooves on the Green concerts."

The Grooves on the Green summer concert series continues over the coming weeks:

  • Next Concert: Zoomie & The Soniks, Friday, September 5th at 7:00pm, He-Nis-Ra Park
  • Final Concert: Dale Anderson of The Delta Jets, September 19th at 6:30pm, Colburn Park

Media outlets are encouraged to explore this digital press kit , which includes a factsheet and photos of the park improvements in action during tonight's concert.
