Granite State Children’s Alliance to Develop Statewide Headquarters and Permanent Home for Child Advocacy Center with Support from Rockland Trust

Manchester, NH - January 6, 2026 - Rockland Trust Charitable Foundation is proud to support the Granite State Children's Alliance (GSCA) with the purchase of $25,000 in New Hampshire Community Development Tax Credit. The funds will go toward renovating the historic building at 607 Chestnut Street in Manchester, NH, which will house GSCA's statewide headquarters and Child Advocacy Center (CAC) of Hillsborough Country-North. The building will also serve as the headquarters for GSCA's new Behavioral Health Program which embeds clinicians into CACs to provide on-site therapy to child victims.

"This investment helps us transform an historic building into a child-centered space designed to promote justice, hope, and healing for families across Hillsborough County."

Co-located services improve outcomes and reduce the burden on children and families already navigating unimaginable hardship. CACs bring together law enforcement, child protection, prosecutors, medical providers, mental health clinicians, and victim advocates to ensure that child victims are heard, protected, and supported. With the inclusion of GSCA's new Behavioral Health Program headquarters, the new GSCA location will also feature offices for clinical managers, group therapy spaces, clinical training spaces, and an on-site behavioral health suite, enabling children who disclose abuse or neglect during their visit to receive trauma-focused care in one of three therapy rooms.

By centering the needs of children, the CAC of Hillsborough County-North not only strengthens investigations and prosecutions, but also provides justice, hope, and healing for children and families. The new headquarters will strengthen long-term organizational and program sustainability, enabling the GSCA to build a robust foundation for healing at CACs statewide.
