GENTEXT/REMARKS/
1. Per Ref (a), Deputy Commandant for Combat Development and
Integration (DC CD&I) serves as the Headquarters, Marine Corps agency
responsible for the oversight and standardized training of all
Occupational Field (OccFld) Managers and Military Occupational
Specialty (MOS) Specialists.
2. In alignment with these responsibilities, DC CD&I will host the
Fiscal Year 2026 OccFld Management Symposium, a professional
development event focused on the Marine Corps Human Resource
Development Process and the Total Force Structure Development
Process.
3. Event Details. The symposium will be held from 17-18 February
2026 at Breckinridge Hall auditorium on Marine Corps Base Quantico.
The physical address is 2076 South Street, Quantico, Virginia 22134.
Opening remarks will commence at 1000 on 17 February 2026.
3.a. Registration. To register for the event, navigate to the

3.b. Uniform. Uniform for the symposium is the woodland pattern
Marine Corps Combat Utility Uniform or appropriate civilian attire.
4. Travel. Funding for travel and transportation are the
responsibility of the attendee and the parent command.
5. Target Audience. All actively serving OccFld Managers and MOS
Specialists working directly for the MOS Sponsor are highly
encouraged to attend.
6. Agenda. The symposium agenda will be posted to the OccFld
Management SharePoint at

7. Inclement Weather. If weather conditions risk base closure or
delayed start, the symposium will be cancelled.
