On Thursday, July 2, 2026 at about 6:00 a.m., Kenneth L. Jeffries, 81, of Portland, left the Portland Veterans Affairs Medical Center at 3710 SW US Veterans Hospital Rd. He had a bus pass with him but it's unclear if he got on a bus.

He did not return home and efforts to locate him have so far been unsuccessful. Kenneth Jeffries suffers from symptoms of dementia and may be lost, increasing the level of concern for his safety and welfare.
