A suspicious death incident is being investigated in the Powellhurst-Gilbert Neighborhood.

On Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 4:36 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct responded to a house in the 11900 Block of Southeast Pardee Street on the report of a suspected death. When officers arrived, they confirmed the death and the suspicious circumstances.

The Portland Police Homicide Unit responded to the scene to investigate. The cause and manner of death will be determined by the medical examiner at a later time.

While the investigation continues, traffic on Southeast Pardee Street between Southeast 118^th Avenue and Southeast 120^th Avenue will be impacted.
