Grand Portage National Monument Announces Summer Hours Beginning May 23, 2026

GRAND PORTAGE, Minn. - Grand Portage National Monument will implement Summer hours beginning on Saturday, May 23, 2026. The Heritage Center will be open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and the Historic Depot will be open from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. The historic depot will be open seven days a week through Monday, October 12.

Grand Portage National Monument is a fee-free site co-managed with the Grand Portage Band of Lake Superior Chippewa established to preserve a vital center of fur trade activity and Anishinaabeg Ojibwe Heritage.
