  • The 8th Annual Pimento Cheese Festival is Saturday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Downtown Cary Park.
  • Enjoy pimento cheese-infused dishes from local vendors paired with refreshing local brews, live music from The Embers, the Cheese Sculpting Contest, a golf simulator, and the Pimento Cheese Lounge.
  • Academy Street will be closed from Dry Avenue to Park Street from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 11.

Cary, NC - Attention all cheese enthusiasts: It's time to indulge in the creamy, cheesy, and delectable delights of the 8th Annual Pimento Cheese Festival. Join us for a day of culinary delights on Saturday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Downtown Cary Park. Savor mouthwatering pimento cheese-infused dishes crafted by over 50 vendors, including food trucks and the Pimento Cheese Marketplace, complemented by refreshing local brews. Immerse yourself in live music, cheer on the competitors in the Cheese Sculpting Contest, and test your golf skills at the Closest to the Pin Challenge for a chance to win the coveted orange jacket. Unwind in the cozy Pimento Cheese Lounge with music and more in the beautiful tree grove adjacent to the historic Ivey Ellington House.

To accommodate the festival and the safety of attendees, Academy Street will be closed from Dry Avenue to Park Street starting at 7 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, and will be reopened to traffic at 6 p.m.

Getting to the festival is easy with free parking available throughout downtown Cary, including the new Cedar Street Parking Deck. Accessible parking is available at the Cary Arts Center lot. For a full list of downtown parking locations and map, visit carync.gov/parking.
