19th St./Oakland Station: entrance closure 2/23-3/8

Beginning Monday, February 23rd, the entrance to the 19th St./Oakland Station located at northwest corner of Broadway and 17th Street will be closed for approximately two weeks. This entrance is in the pedestrian connection between Broadway and Telegraph (see map).

During this time, workers with the City of Oakland will remove damaged artwork that lines the entrance walls. Once the artwork is removed, crews will pressure wash and paint the walls before reopening the entrance to the public by March 8th.

Signage will be posted indicating the closed entrances/exits. Riders can use the nearby elevator as an alternative.

We appreciate your patience as we do this important work at the station.
