Locka StudioAI brings greater flexibility to new-build residential visualisation

When selling new-build homes, the properties often do not yet physically exist. Prospective buyers cannot visit a completed home and must instead rely on floor plans, descriptions and visualisations to understand what they are considering purchasing.

This gives visual content an important role throughout the sales process. However, much of this material has traditionally been produced early in a project. The need for images and information may change as the project develops, sales begin and the residential developer gains a better understanding of the target audience.

Locka StudioAI introduces a more flexible production model. Existing images can be adjusted and new perspectives created faster, enabling developers to produce more visual content and continue adapting it throughout the project.

Visual content that develops with the project

Locka and Klövern have collaborated since 2024. As an early user of Locka StudioAI, Klövern participated in the pilot and has tested the technology in active new-build residential projects.

The collaboration provides Locka with practical input into how visual content can support the sales process for homes that have not yet been built. It also helps identify how the material can be adapted as new needs emerge and more is learned about prospective buyers.

"Changes to visual content can now be made much faster thanks to Locka StudioAI. Smaller details in an image can be adjusted with a very quick response. Previously, producing such an image could take several weeks and come at a different cost," says Niklas Malmfors, Sales Manager at Klövern.

Greater flexibility makes it possible to visualise more parts of a home and develop a broader range of material throughout the project. For prospective buyers, this can provide a more relevant visual presentation of properties they cannot yet visit.

Transforming an established production process

We introduced Locka StudioAI in June 2026 as an AI-driven production model for residential visualisation. The idea is not simply to make an individual task faster. By integrating AI into the production process, Locka can change what is possible to produce and adapt within the commercial framework of a residential project.

"Locka StudioAI shows how AI can transform an established production process. By making residential visualisation more flexible, Locka can help developers produce a broader range of content and adapt it as the project and understanding of the target audience develop," says Jeremias Jansson, CEO, SmartCraft.

The continued collaboration with Klövern provides practical input from active new-build projects and supports the further development of Locka StudioAI.
