TIA Thanks Michelin North America for Supporting Tire Industry Scholarship Program

BOWIE, Md. - The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is pleased to recognize Michelin North America for its $5,000 contribution to the Tire Industry Scholarship program, administered in partnership with the University of the Aftermarket Foundation (UAF).

Michelin's support will help provide educational opportunities for students pursuing higher education while strengthening the future workforce of the tire and automotive service industries.

"We are grateful to Michelin for supporting the Tire Industry Scholarship program and investing in the future of our industry," said TIA CEO Dick Gust. "Scholarships like these help create opportunities for students while demonstrating our industry's commitment to developing the next generation of leaders, technicians, and professionals."

Michelin joins a growing group of organizations that have contributed to the scholarship initiative, including Bridgestone Americas, Hankook Tire, Kumho Tire, Nitto Tire, Toyo Tire, VIP Tire, Yokohama Tire Corporation, and the Tire Industry Association.

Established in partnership with the University of the Aftermarket Foundation, the Tire Industry Scholarship program provides financial assistance to students pursuing higher education and helps address the industry's workforce development needs.

TIA continues to encourage companies throughout the tire industry to support the scholarship fund and help expand opportunities for future students.

"The success of this program depends on industry participation," Gust said. "Every contribution helps us invest in the future of our workforce and create opportunities for students who may one day become the leaders of our industry."
