NEW MEXICO JULY 8- "As Chairwoman of the Republican Party of New Mexico, I unequivocally condemn the recent statement made by Ann Coulter on social media, in which she wrote, "We didn't kill enough Indians." This statement is vile, reprehensible, and fundamentally opposed to the values of human dignity, respect, and decency. The Republican Party of New Mexico stands proudly alongside our Native American communities, who are an essential part of our state's cultural, historical, and spiritual fabric. New Mexico is home to 23 sovereign tribal nations, and any rhetoric that seeks to dehumanize or promote violence against Indigenous peoples is unacceptable and disgraceful. Words have power. Ms. Coulter's language is not only morally repugnant but dangerously inflammatory. We condemn hate speech in all its forms, especially when it targets historically marginalized communities. The normalization of this kind of rhetoric has no place in our party, our discourse, or our society. We call on public figures-regardless of political affiliation-to rise above cruelty and division and instead promote respectful dialogue and understanding. The Republican Party of New Mexico remains committed to working with our tribal partners to build a future rooted in mutual respect and shared prosperity.
