Digital Literacy Workshops for Seniors Begin September 23

Published on September 12, 2025

Aging Partners today announced a series of free one-on-one digital assistance workshops for seniors beginning this fall. The 90-minute sessions will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m. September 23, October 15 and November 12, at Victory Park, 600 S. 70th St. The workshops will aid seniors in using their own technology such as smartphones, iPads and laptops.

In partnership with the University of Nebraska "Community Engagement" program, honors students will provide an inter-generational experience by teaching seniors how to benefit from using their own technology, such as enhancing communication through video calls, promoting mental stimulation with brain-training apps, and providing access to online health resources. The program also provides convenience through online shopping and transportation services, promoting independence and social engagement.

To register for the digital literacy workshops, call Aging Partners at 402-441-7158.
