Garbage Collection
There will be no Solid Waste garbage collection on Wednesday, January 1. Wednesday's collection will move to Tuesday, December 31. Please place your trash carts to the street the night before collection.

Murfreesboro Transit, the City's public transportation service, will not operate New Year's Day, Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025.

Old Fort and Bloomfield Links golf courses will be closed on New Year's Day, Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025 , but open normal hours on New Year's Eve, Dec. 31, weather permitting.

The Senior Center will close at 5 p.m. New Year's Eve, Dec. 31 and be closed New Year's Day, Jan. 1, 2025. Regular hours resume on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025.

Adams Tennis Complex will be close at 5pm on New Year's Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 31. ATC will be closed New Year's Day, Jan. 1, 2025, and open regular hours on Jan. 2, 2025.

Recreational Facilities:

McFadden and Cannonsburgh Village will be closed New Year's Eve, Dec. 31. Patterson and Sports*Com will close at 5 p.m. on New Year's Eve. All facilities will be closed New Year's Day, Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025. Facilities will be open regular hours, Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025.

The Main Parks & Recreation Office will be closed on New Year's Day.

City business offices will be closed on New Year's Day. Regular hours resume on January 2, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
