Boyle Statement on Russian Drone Striking Romanian Apartment Building

WASHINGTON, DC - Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-02), Lead Democrat of the U.S. Congressional Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, released the following statement after a Russian drone struck an apartment building in Romania:

"America stands firmly with our NATO ally Romania in condemning this dangerous violation of NATO airspace by Putin's regime. My thoughts are with those injured, and I am praying for their swift recovery.

Russia has once again shown its blatant disregard for innocent civilian lives, international law, and the sovereignty of its neighbors. The United States must continue to stand with Ukraine and with all of our NATO allies as they confront Putin's aggression."
