Mobile Food Pantry This Saturday, February 28
Please consider joining us this Saturday at 4th St. & Dr. Martin Luther King Ave. at the St. Patrick Community Outreach Mobile Food Pantry. In conjunction with the Rotary Club of Memphis and the Mid-South Food Bank, we distribute groceries to our neighbors in need. The Mid-South Food Bank delivers our groceries at 7:00 in the morning on these Saturdays. We then "stage" the food, opening the gates at 8:30 am or a little earlier if possible. We've been wrapping up these sessions by 10:30 or 11:00 am. Any time you can join us would be greatly appreciated.
Gene Mangiante is the Executive Director of St. Patrick Outreach. He is also retired as a professor of surgery from UT Health Sciences. Joe Birch is also on our team.
Faculty, staff, and students can contact me to verify their volunteer hours with GivePulse and/or if anyone has any questions.
