Tyler Hawaii Honored with Two WebAwards in Global Competition

The Web Marketing Association has announced the winners of its 29th annual WebAward Competition, recognizing outstanding achievement in web development across the globe. Judged on criteria including design, copywriting, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, and use of technology, this prestigious recognition underscores Tyler Hawaii's ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional digital services to local government partners statewide.

Tyler Hawaii received two WebAwards this year for its work with public sector clients in Kauai and on Hawaii Island.

The first award recognized the newly redesigned website for the Kauai Department of Water, developed in close collaboration with the department. The updated site makes it easier for residents to find essential information related to billing, water conservation tips, water quality reports, service outage notifications, and community news and events.

The second award honored the redesigned website for theHawaii Police Department. This project marked the department's first major website update since 2011 and was developed in partnership with the agency to better serve the Hawaii Island community. The new site enhances public engagement and provides more accessible information, including an events calendar, department history, crime prevention resources, and profiles of HPD's K9 officers.

"The caliber of entries this year has been truly remarkable," said William Rice, President of the Web Marketing Association. "It's clear that the evolution of web design continues to reach new heights, with participants demonstrating not only creative excellence but also a deep understanding of functionality and user experience. We're proud to recognize these exceptional websites, which are setting new benchmarks for innovation, engagement, and performance. Congratulations to all of our winners for pushing the boundaries of what's possible in website development."

In addition to the individual awards, Tyler Technologies-Tyler Hawaii's parent company-was recognized as an Outstanding Website Developer, a distinction awarded to organizations that earn five or more WebAwards in a single year. Tyler Technologies received 14 WebAwards in 2025, reflecting the company's broad national impact in helping public sector agencies modernize their digital presence.
