Traffic Advisory Amador County 12/12/25

One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Amador County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct one-way traffic control next week on State Route 88 (SR-88) for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

State Route 88

  • Overnight, one-way traffic control takes place from SR-124 to SR-49 for highway construction work beginning Sunday, December 14, 2025, through Friday, December 19, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control takes place from SR-26/Red Corral Road to Carson Drive for tree work on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
