County Sets Town Halls on Sales Tax and Property Tax Reform
CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Sept. 15, 2026) - Charlotte County Administration will host a series of town hall meetings to provide residents with information and answer questions about the 1% Local Option Sales Tax and property tax reform.
The meetings are scheduled for 6-7 p.m. on the following dates and locations:
Sept. 22 - Tringali Park Community Center
Sept. 29 - Punta Gorda Charlotte Library
Sept. 30 - Mid-County Regional Library
Oct. 6 - Ann & Chuck Dever Regional Park recreation center
Oct. 8 - Centennial Park recreation center
Oct. 12 - Harold Avenue Regional Park recreation center
Oct. 12 - Punta Gorda Charlotte Library
Residents are encouraged to attend, learn more and ask questions.
