Carlson Library Featuring Pair of Art Exhibits by Employees, Students

Carlson Library has a pair of new exhibits in the North and South Galleries on the first floor.

The Annual UToledo Employee Art Exhibition opened Monday, Oct. 27, in the Carlson Library South Gallery and will run through Friday, Dec. 12.

An opportunity for faculty and staff to exhibit their talents outside of their academic pursuits, the show will feature 19 artists from various colleges and departments at the University including the University Libraries, The University of Toledo Police Department, Department of Medicine, Department of Communication and Media, Jesup Scott Honors College, Office of Legal Affairs and more.

The third University Libraries Art Student Showcase opens on Monday, Nov. 3, in the Carlson Library North Gallery, and will run through Friday, Dec. 12.

The exhibit is an opportunity for undergraduate students in The University of Toledo's Department of Art to showcase their work. This year's show features 20 artists with work spanning paintings to ceramics to digital art.
