2025 Manufacturing Week Field Trip

On October 3rd, we again partnered with New Tech High School and NVTA to lead a group of high school seniors on our third-annual Manufacturing Day Field Trip! The students visited:

• Gordon Huether 's studio, where they learned about the marriage of art and production
• CA Etching showed them the process of creating sandblasted, screen-printed and hand-painted wine bottles and glasses
• The Nova Group wowed with their large-scale government contracting efforts
• Emb Zone ran their embroidery machines, printed large-format vinyl vehicle wraps, and sent each student home with a made-to-order screen-printed New Tech t shirt

Several of the students made connections about internships, and all left the day with an expanded understanding of what a future career in local manufacturing could look like.
