City of Roanoke Offices Closed January 6

Due to inclement winter weather, City of Roanoke offices will be closed on Monday, January 6, 2025. The safety of our residents and employees is a top priority, and we encourage everyone to take necessary precautions during this time.

Impact on Services and Meetings:

• Public Safety and Essential Services: Public Safety and other essential services personnel will report to work as scheduled.
• City Council Meeting: The Roanoke City Council meeting originally scheduled for Monday, January 6, at 2:00 p.m. will be rescheduled for Tuesday, January 7, at 2:00 p.m.
• Solid Waste Collection: Trash, bulk, brush, and B Week recycling collections will be delayed by one day for the week of January 6.
