The Opening Day Street Parade will officially launch the 2025 MOJA Arts Festival, a citywide celebration of African-American and Caribbean culture through art, music, dance, food, and community.
This high-energy procession will bring the heart of downtown Charleston to life, filling the streets with music, movement, and celebration as the festival kicks off in true MOJA style.

WHEN: Thursday, September 25, 2025 | 6:00-7:00 p.m.
WHERE: Parade begins at Marion Square, traveling down King Street to East Bay/South Market
WHO: Burke High School ROTC, Deninufay African Drum and Dance, Burke High School Band, Royal MBC Girl Scouts, St. Johns High School Band, Baptist Hill High School Band, North Charleston Elementary, North Charleston Military Magnet, Meeting Street Academy, Charleston Development Academy, Timberland High School Band, Sanders Clyde Elementary, Corvette Club, Starr 99 Sling Shots, Woodland High School Band
