CCAS Professor Receives Simons Foundation Grant

Gabriela Rosenblau, an associate professor of cognitive neuroscience and director of the Cognitive Neuroscience Doctoral Program at the George Washington University Columbian College of Arts and Sciences, received a $23,000 grant from the Simons Foundation for the 2026-27Shenoy Undergraduate Research Fellowship in Neuroscience.

Rosenblau's research uses computational modeling and other approaches to study the biological and psychological mechanisms underlying social functioning, with a focus on social learning during adolescence and the transition to adulthood.

The fellowship supports paid, in-person undergraduate research assistantships and provides students with hands-on research experience, mentorship and career development opportunities.
