Israel and U.S. Successfully Complete Test of the Arrow Weapon System

The Israel Missile Defense Organization (IMDO) and the U.S. Missile Defense Agency (MDA) successfully completed a test of the Arrow Weapon System this week. This planned test was part of the multi-year test program for the development and upgrade of the system.

Over the last three years, the Arrow Weapon System, which includes Arrow 2 and Arrow 3, has proven unprecedented and groundbreaking capabilities on a global scale in air and missile defense, intercepting numerous ballistic threats launched from Iran and Yemen.

IMDO and MDA are partners in the development and production of the Arrow Weapon System, and together continue to upgrade the system to defend against evolving threats. This successful test represents another significant milestone in Israel's operational ability to defend itself from current and future threats.

The Arrow Weapon System constitutes the top layer of Israel's multi-layered air and missile defense system that also includes the David's Sling Weapon System, Iron Dome and Iron Beam Defense Systems.
