Committee Leaders’ Joint Statement on Helicopter Crash in New York City Aviation

Joint statement of Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Sam Graves (R-MO), Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Ranking Member Rick Larsen (D-WA), and Aviation Subcommittee Chairman Troy E. Nehls (R-TX) regarding today's helicopter crash into the Hudson River in New York City:

"We are closely monitoring today's tragic helicopter crash in New York City. Thank you to the first responders on the scene, including the U.S. Coast Guard and the brave firefighters and law enforcement officers. As we await more information from the National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration, our prayers are with the victims and their loved ones."
