The City of White Plains Will Be Flushing Water Mains on Friday, June 13

Dear Residents:

The Bureau of Water will be flushing water mains between the hours of midnight and 8:00 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025. Except for emergencies and/or repairing hydrants during the normal work day, our program will be conducted in the neighborhoods of:

Colden Avenue, Walworth Terrace, Ridgeview Avenue, Midland Avenue

Filmore Place, Merritt Avenue, Lynton Place, Walton Avenue, S. Broadway, Mitchell Place, E. Post Road, Highland, Nutgrove, Chestnut Hill

This operation may cause some discoloration of the water, so washing clothes is not recommended during this brief time (midnight - 4:00 a.m.) however the water quality remains the unchanged and is still safe for drinking. If you experience any discoloration of your water, simply run cold water until the water runs clear.

We regret any inconvenience, but this is a necessary maintenance and safety requirement.
