Duke Street Land Use Plan Community Meeting #5, Reminder
For immediate release: February 20, 2026

Reminder: Please join us at our next Duke Street Land Use Plan Community Meeting and Open House on February 25, 2026 from 7:00 - 8:30 PM at the Washington National Masonic Memorial at 101 Callahan Dr, Alexandria, VA 22301. The community meeting will include a presentation on community feedback gathered to date, proposed draft Plan Districts, and a discussion of the upcoming draft Plan elements to be developed. Before and after the presentation there will be an Open House with further information as well as an opportunity to interact with staff.

  • 7:00 PM: Open House starts (informal opportunity to ask questions, provide feedback, and learn more; an online version will be available on the Engagement Hub)
  • 7:30 PM: Presentation (also online via Zoom, see below for details).
  • 8:00 PM - 8:30 PM: Open House continues

The meeting location is accessible via the FREE DASH Bus Routes 30, 31, and 102 as well as the King Street Metrorail Station. Light refreshments and language interpretation in Spanish and Amharic will be available via the Zoom platform. Participants who would like to attend in person andutilize interpretation services can do so by joining the Zoom meeting on their mobile smartphone device and listening to the interpretation using headphones.
