President of Georgia Mikheil Kavelashvili Meets with OSCE PA President Pere Joan Pons Sampietro

President of Georgia Mikheil Kavelashvili met with the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA), Pere Joan Pons Sampietro.

During the meeting, President Kavelashvili welcomed the OSCE PA President's visit to Georgia. He also emphasized that Pere Joan Pons Sampietro's visit represents a valuable opportunity to discuss current issues and to further deepen future cooperation.

The discussion at the meeting addressed the ongoing political processes in the country.

The President also noted that, since 2012, Georgia has been and continues to be a steadfast supporter of democratic principles, human rights, and the rule of law.

He further emphasized that Georgia consistently acts as a constructive and responsible participant, committed to strengthening multilateral cooperation and fostering dialogue.

The meeting took place at the Presidential Palace.
