E. Las Olas Boulevard Manhole Repair Project
The City of Fort Lauderdale is making improvements to the sewer system along E. Las Olas Boulevard in the Seven Isles and Nurmi Isles neighborhoods. This project includes:
- Replacing underground structures that support manhole lids
- Restoring impacted asphalt and landscaping
Construction will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Traffic Impacts

One westbound lane of E. Las Olas Boulevard will be closed between Seven Isles Drive and Nurmi Drive.

Traffic exiting Royal Palm Drive will only be permitted to make right turns toward westbound E. Las Olas Boulevard.
- Traffic control personnel will direct traffic as needed.
- Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.
