HARRISBURG - Rep. Joe D'Orsie (R-Manchester) was sworn in today for a second term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
"I'm excited to continue representing the wonderful people of the 47th and ensuring their interests and concerns are heard at the Capitol," D'Orsie said. "The vigor and passion that I carried into last session has not waned; I'm ready now more than ever to fight for my friends and neighbors in Harrisburg."
During his first term, D'Orsie was very vocal in the fight to protect women and girls in sports, educational choice for all K-12 Pennsylvania students and their families, free speech in higher education, and congressional term limits. He also received the prestigious Guardian of Small Business designation from the National Federation of Independent Businesses.
For his second term, D'Orsie plans to focus his legislative priorities on pharmacy benefit manager reform, cutting burdensome regulations in order to grow our state, and continuing to fight for Pennsylvania businesses, families, and students.
The 47th Legislative District includes Conewago, Manchester, East Manchester and Hellam townships; the boroughs of Hallam, Manchester, Mount Wolf and Wrightsville; and a piece of Springettsbury Township in York County.
